Casey Key Construction Start!

Construction has recently begun for this upcoming Foxtail Coffee shop in Florida - Casey Key! This shop is located in Osprey, Florida, which sits along Little Sarasota Bay, offering waterfront views, boating access, and proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. Osprey is a small, unincorporated coastal community known for its blend of Old Florida history, waterfront living, and laid-back lifestyle. Though modest in size, it carries a surprisingly rich cultural and environmental identity.

This site remains one of the most significant archaeological and historical preserves in southwest Florida, featuring evidence of prehistoric habitation as well as pioneer-era citrus farming. The town is named after the osprey bird, a fish-hunting raptor commonly seen along Florida’s coast. These birds are a familiar sight perched on poles or diving into nearby waters, reinforcing the area’s connection to nature and coastal ecosystems.
