Construction Start for Grand Plaza in Michigan!
We are happy to announce that construction has officially begun on the next Foxtail Coffee location in Michigan! This shop will be located on the ground floor of the Amway Grand Plaza (Curio Collection by Hilton), which is more than just a hotel; it’s a downtown Grand Rapids landmark. Originally opened in 1913 as the Pantlind Hotel, it was designed by the same architects responsible for New York’s Grand Central Station and still boasts one of the world’s largest gold-leaf ceilings! Today, it seamlessly blends this Gilded Age opulence with modern luxury, serving as the heartbeat of a revitalized urban center.
Guests who visit this future Foxtail will be placed directly in the city's cultural and entertainment district. Whether they are strolling along the scenic Grand River, walking across the bridge to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, or attending an event at the DeVos Place Convention Center via the climate-controlled skywalk, everything is within reach. Grand Rapids itself mirrors the hotel’s "historic meets modern" vibe, offering a walkable landscape of world-class museums, vibrant nightlife, and public art that makes the city feel both sophisticated and inviting. Check out a rendering of the space and a picture of the hotel below, and stay tuned for construction progress updates coming up!
