Coffee Beans Shelf Life Update!

With the addition of our new Loring S70 Peregrine back in February, its capabilities have allowed us to research the varying possibilities of our bean quality. We have conducted several tests on the quality of the coffee beans through espresso machine usage and slow bar usage, and we are very excited to announce new shelf lives below (can now be found on p. 92 in the Foxtail Handbook):

• The roast date for Guest Sale bags can now be extended to 12 weeks

• The overall roast date when used behind bar can extend to 16 weeks

This time frame allows for different complex notes to shine through, while preserving the quality and allowing for appropriate two-week rest time for the coffee beans to properly degass.

This is an amazing accomplishment that is only made possible through the collective dedication of each and every one of you and your teams.
