Did you know the Food and Pastries made for Foxtail now contain a fill-in date sticker? This new addition to the printed label allows your teams to label the products accurately. This also ensures the products remain up to date on shelf life, and will save on the roll of label stickers!
If the food or pastry box does not have the Foxtail logo sticker with product information, you must use the perishable label stickers to ensure the product is within the best-by date so that we can continue to serve the best quality eats & treats!
Here’s how to ace your "best by" stickers like a pro:
✅ Product Name – Write it clearly!
📅 Date Made/Thawed – When the product was pulled from the freezer or made in-house
⏳ Expiration Date – Check the updated Perishable Sheet for accuracy!
Remember:
When a product moves from the freezer ➡️ fridge ➡️ ambient, it needs a new label.
When an item goes from sealed ➡️ open, it also needs a fresh label!
Only one label per item; old labels should be removed before applying new ones.
The perishable sheet has also received an update on a few items, such as an extension on coffee shelf life! Make sure to visit the resource ➡️ Training & Operations ➡️ Best By Dates Sheet
